FLAG Flag Football is very excited to announce no t one but two recipients of the 2022 Marc E. Lewis Scholarship! Congratulations to Brendan Leo and Sophia Kennedy. Over the past several years, the MEL Scholarship has provided LGBTQ+ athletes and allies essential funding for secondary education. Through FLAG's mission of tackling stereotypes, LGBTQ+ athletes and allies will continue to create a more inclusive space for the next generation of LGBTQ+ leaders. In 2022 we are proud to recognize these two very qualified awardees with $5,000 each. We wish both all the best as they continue their education, and thank you to everyone in the FLAG Flag Football family for your continued support of this important scholarship.
